To escape life for
A moment or more,
Follow the following
Directions.

Step through the glass doors
Of a room filled with
Billions of characters
And places
And situations.

Pull a neatly bound
Treasure chest
Filled with some of those
People and
Places and
Situations.

Run it under the red light and
Clutch it to your chest
As you walk home.

When you reach your
Quiet bedroom,
Curl into the nearest
Spot with some pillows.

Open up that small, square
Trove, and delve into
A world that someone created
Just for your pleasure,
Your resort.

To escape life for
A moment or more,
Pick up a book
Written just for
You.
